Vinyl Color Matching

If your artwork is color sensitive and you would like to make sure your brand colors come out correctly, we recommend that you use this service. Because we print using CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black combinations), the 4-color process will not always convert or adjust your PMS (Pantone Matching System®) color automatically or perfectly.

This service is applied to all vinyl products in the order and is per color, meaning that if you order 1 quantity of this selection, will give you a PMS color match for one color. This service excludes matching textures or gradients.

After you select this option, pay and upload your file*, a color expert from our team of graphic designers will match the closest possible CMYK color value to your specific PMS color. Please be advised that a PMS color match can add up to 3 additional business days to in-house turnaround time.

Helpful Tips

1. *Prepare your files to help ensure a correct PMS color match. Please supply a LAYERED file. Acceptable file formats are: .PDF, Adobe Illustrator (.AI), Adobe Photoshop (.PSD), .EPS, or  .TIFF

2. To see the CMYK color values of your PMS color, you can reference the Pantone Color Bridge Coated color book. Look for “CP”, meaning Process Coated. (Example: 709 CP).

NOTE: We can color match all media materials, except for Backlit Fabric or Acrylic Substrate.

*Though we strive for fast turnaround times, we understand it is crucial to get your color right. Please be advised that a hard copy PMS color match will cause delay, varying turnaround times. Note times for shipping as well, depending on your method.  

If you order a hard copy, please expect a digital proof for your approval of the hard copy, after which we will ship to you for your in-person review. If you like the color match, please notify us and we will continue with production of your order as usual from that point.
